Building out Virgin’s Pulse weekly challenges

Problem: Weekly challenges addressed common behavior changes like activity, sleep, and stress but didn’t address tips around building emotional intelligence or engaging with community

Solution

  • Delivered evidence-based content using plain language, health literacy, and human-centered design best practices

  • Developed a suite of weekly challenges ranging from topics on appreciating others to celebrating culture, loosening up, leaning on others, and revisiting the past

Impact

  • Content was rolled out to a global audience of over 14 million members

  • 27% increased engagement on leaderboards on these topics
